HOLE #1 and #10

Starting just outside the clubhouse this hole is a straight shot to the green.  In apple season there are delicious little apples on the right hand side of the fairway.

HOLE #2 and #11
"Du Temple Corner"
Named for the family that has owned the golf course since 1946.
This is the first of our two "dog-legs", it curves to the right around the environmentally sensitive area (ESA) and the Gary Oak Meadow finishing near the maintenance yard.

HOLE #3 and #12
Another straight shot, with the old barn (now teaching and practice area) located on the right just off the tee. You will also find the provisional practice green between 3 green & 4 tee for practice with chipping / putting.

HOLE #4 and #13
"Archie's Grove"
Named for Archie McCulloch, a long time member and former employee.
One of our longest holes without a "dog leg", hole 4 runs the length of the property along West Saanich Rd.

HOLE #5 and #14
"Story Tree"

Named for the grove of large old growth Douglas Fir trees located on the left of the fairway,  & on the right near
the tee-box for hole 3.

please click here.

This hole is the first of our par threes.
Simple little hole with a lot of history and stories attached to it.

"The Ardmore Cougar"
As you leave 4 green on your way to 5, look up to your right for the Ardmore Cougar.
Don't worry, this one won't bite!

HOLE #6 and #15
"Toller's Reach"
Named for Bill Toller, long time member, for his multiple Hole-in-Ones on this hole.
This is the only hole on the course that the men's and ladies' par differs (back 9 only).
Watch out for the green, it's built on a hill and can be a bit tricky!

HOLE #7 and #16
This is the second of the "dog legs"
however this one curves left.
Please note the large old tree straight ahead of you from the tee-box near the bend.  Take a look our painting in the pro
shop of it in it's former glory by
artist Penny Baziuk (formerly Du Temple).

Alternate tee box on 8 / 17 is listed on the scorecard as a "white tee" back nine.  Playing from this tee-box is 95 yards.
HOLE #8 and #17
This is the second par three on the course.  In 2013 we added an alternate tee-box which you will find on the raised mound to the right of the original.  It is rated as a similar difficulty to the original white tee. The alternate tee is shorter, but OVER water.

On the left side of the fairway, just off the front of the tee is "Butler Bridge"
(see plaque in Beauty of Ardmore Gallery).

HOLE #9 and #18
Another long straight hole, almost the length of the property.  This hole finishes up at the clubhouse and patio.
Beware of the sand traps just
before the green!
