Ardmore Men's Club
Due to COVID 19 concerns, Ardmore Men's Club activities will be postponed until further notice.
The Ardmore Men’s Club organizes a myriad of activities centred around a
weekly 18-hole round of golf on Wednesday mornings starting in late March
and finishing early in October. Each round is either a team or individual event
and each week you’re in a different foursome giving you a chance to meet many new golfers.
The Wednesday round is a shotgun start at 7:30 so all are finished together, at which time the
morning’s efforts can be reviewed and embellished in the proverbial 19th hole.
For those that prefer a later start time, some of the members tee off together on Tuesday afternoons. In
addition to monthly barbeques, there is a monthly road trip and various interclub matches
arranged so you can play on other courses. Back at Ardmore, there are numerous other
competitions to play throughout the season. In mid-August the Men’s Club Championship
involves three rounds of golf over a week, in three different flights, with another barbeque.
The Men’s club is a very social group with a wide range of golfers with varied skill levels,
allowing everyone to enjoy the fellowship, relaxed atmosphere and friendly environment.
The membership fee is only $75 which covers the weekly cash prizes for the Wednesday morning
competitions. For those with less time, there is a group which plays a 9-hole round starting at
9AM on Wednesday and they charge a drop-in fee of $2 to cover the cost of their weekly
prizes. Non-members of Ardmore Golf Club are welcome to join the Men’s Club and pay their
green fees weekly. However, to participate in the weekly prizes, you must maintain a current

Please take out a membership to support golf in our area. This membership will get you a free round of golf at Cedar Hill Golf Course on May 22nd. Please complete and submit your membership form for the 2020 BC 55+ BC Games. Just a reminder that you do not need to commit to attending the Richmond Games in order to compete in the playdowns at Cedar Hill, but we encourage all to take out a membership as larger numbers help the Zone in acquiring Gaming funding for this and future years. Please feel free to circulate this e-mail to your friends or other golfing enthusiasts.
The Games are being held this year in Richmond BC, and the playdowns for those games will be held at Cedar Hill Golf Course on Friday, May 22. As in the past. In order to participate in the playdowns, you will need to complete the “Membership Form” and “Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Assumption of Risk Form” which must be in my hands no later than May 8, and should be mailed to:

along with a cheque for the membership fee of $20.00 payable to “BCSGS – Zone 1“. As an alternative, you can sign the forms and scan them to me along with an e-transfer for the $20.00 membership fee to my e-mail address. I have attached a copy of Membership/Waiver Form or you can access the form at the following web address:
The Richmond 2020 55+ BC Games will be utilizing the following Golf Courses (subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances) Quilchena Golf Club & Greenacres Golf Course. Both venues will provide an excellent test for golfers of all skill levels. Many may consider using this opportunity to plan an exciting golf vacation to the Richmond area of British Columbia.
